Hex Head Cap Screws fully threaded bolts are used to secure an object within or against another object. They have tighter tolerances, a chamfered end, and a washer face under the bolt head. The main difference between a hex cap screw and hex bolt is a hex bolt does not have a washer face under the bolt head. Silicon bronze is an alloy made primarily of copper and silicon. With a distinctive, golden color, it is aesthetically pleasing and a preferred choice for visible parts in architectural and marine. Silicon bronze fasteners have best-in-class corrosion resistant qualities and are an excellent choice for outdoor and all salt water exposed applications.
