Drywall screws with a flat Phillips head and phosphate coating are essential for any drywall installation project. The flat head ensures a smooth, flush finish, while the Phillips drive allows for easy and precise driving. The phosphate coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, enhancing durability and longevity even in high-humidity environments. The finish increases visibility against light-colored boards, while the bugle head is self-dimpling and easily covered with mud and paint.
Coarse thread screws are designed to securely fasten drywall to wood studs, and fine threads for steel studs. Use with a No. 2 Phillips drywall bit, planning on 48 screws per 4x8 ft sheet for optimal results.
- The phosphate coating provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, enhancing the longevity of the screws, especially in high-humidity environments and provides better visibility against light-colored drywall, making it easier to see and work with during installation.
- Made from steel.
- The bugle head design with phosphate coating helps in self-dimpling, which means the screws sink into the drywall without tearing the paper, providing a better surface for finishing.
