Acorn (Cap) Nuts are used to cover threaded fasteners that protrude and are, therefore, unsightly or a safety hazard. They protect screws and bolts from stripping. Acorn Nuts are found on swing sets, childrens playthings, bicycles and more. Acorn Nuts are also ideal as decorative fasteners to conceal threaded studs on cars, motorcycles, boats, RVs, etc. 18.8 stainless steel fasteners have excellent corrosion resistant qualities and are an excellent choice for general and outdoor use.
