May 13, 2009 - Weber Supply Company Inc. announces the opening of a new facility for its Richmond distribution centre, effective June 22, 2009.
The relocation of the Richmond facility is part of a strategic plan to enable Weber the opportunity to better supply their customer base in the Greater Vancouver area. The new facility is located within the Richmond industrial community and is close to the Knight St. bridge and other major highways, providing easier access to other parts of Greater Vancouver. The new address is 3691 Viking Way, Richmond, British Columbia V6V 2J6.
In November 2008 Weber Supply Company Inc. acquired Knight Safety and the company became Knight Safety, division of Weber Supply Company Inc. As a further step to the move Weber Supply are also announcing the company name change to Weber Supply Company Inc. David Weber, President & CEO of Weber Supply feels "with this new name our position will be strengthened in the marketplace which will allow us to better serve our customers".
