Customer Service Representative
A brief description of the job as follows:
- Answer customer, vendor and outside sales representative calls
- Recommend products for specific applications
- Handle customer complaints and concerns
- Enter/ review orders received by email, fax, mail, phone, E.D.I. and MROP
- Provide quotations to customers and sales representatives upon request
- Expedite outstanding backorders and orders as required
- May source non-stock items for specific customer requests
- Maintain knowledge level on product lines by attending training sessions, etc.
- Provide MSDS sheets where and when necessary
- Work with shipping to expedite rush orders and provides delivery information
- Other duties as assigned
Experience in the industrial supplies and/ or customer service industry is required.
